CSS filters

July 6th, 2005

Today I looked at my favourite CSS filter overview (I can never remember which hacks apply to which browser), and saw it has been updated after quite a long time of unchanged and sometimes even out of date information.

There’s a couple of nice new (to me that is!) filterhacks in there, that will undoubtedly come in handy in the near future, like for instance the underscore hack: these words only have an orange background in Internet Explorer, all the other browsers show a green background.

More info on that particular hack can be found at WellStyled.com, where it apparently was published already in 2003 — no idea why I didn’t find it sooner.
